Applying for your loan
What kind of vehicles do you accept?
Logbook loans can be used with almost any type of vehicle, from cars, motorbikes, lorries to static caravans. That is anything which has a V5 document.
How long does the application take?
The application takes just two minutes. All we need are your contact details and the type of car( or vehicle) you own, so when an advisor calls you back, you can get all the information you need about your local branch and loan offer.
How much can I borrow?
Please check you selected loan provider as amounts differ between providers. Generally you can borrow anything up to the value of your car or vehicle.
What is your APR?
Please check with your chosen provider, on each provider listing you can find the APR just under their logo. Remember a lower APR is generally better as it means lower interest on your loan over the same time period. If you can repay your loan off quickly, this will mean you will pay less interest on your loan.
Who can get a logbook loan?
If you have bad credit, CCJ's or are behind on your mortgage repayments, you may still qualify as most of our providers do not credit check your application.
As a general guide, you must:
- Be over 18 years old ( some providers require you to be over 21)
- Be the legal owner of the car or other vehicle
- Have fully paid for your car or almost paid for it
- Be a UK resident
- Provide all relevant documents when you visit your local branch
Do you credit score my application?

Yes, we can pay your loan in cash so you don't need a bank account or debit card.

Getting your loan
How do I apply?
Select a provider in your area from the branch locator and then click Apply Now and send us your contact details an advisor will call you back to answer any of your questions and give you further details about your loan application. Once you have made an appointment with a local agent, you'll be asked to drop off your car logbook so you can pick up your loan.
What documents do you need to see?
Check will individual providers, however most will need to see your logbook(V5), proof of income which can be a bank statement or pay slip, proof of address, your insurance certificate and your MOT.
Do you have a branch near me?

When will I get my loan?
It is possible in an emergency to get your loan paid on the same day you apply, although most of our loans are paid within 24 hours.

Repaying your loan
How long will I have to repay my loan?
See indiviual providers for details, however it may vary between a few days to a few years depending on the amount of the loan and your loan provider. We recommend repaying your loan over the shortest term possible to make the interest on the loan as low as possible.

You can repay your loan in a number of ways, usually from standing order, paying in book at any bank or through a debit or credit card over the phone. See individual providers for details.
What should I do if I have difficulty making a payment?
If you are having problems repaying, please contact your loan provider, so they can discuss a temporary payment plan with you.
